Welding as Drawn Line
People sometimes think of welding as purely functional. For me, it is expressive. The bead pattern, the heat tint, the seam placement — all of it contributes to the visual rhythm of a sculpture.

This approach connects my work to a long tradition of artists who let their materials speak. Steel has its own language. My job is to become fluent in it.
